Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to know about running your business on nawa — how it works, what it costs, and how your data is handled.

What exactly is nawa?
nawa is the management network — a place where the conversation is the operating system. Instead of switching to a module and filling forms, you talk management into existence: orders, schedules, invoices and payments happen right inside the chat where the work already lives. Wherever a conversation happens, management can follow.
How is it different from a chat app or an ERP?
Chat apps move messages but can't hold a task, a schedule or a payment. ERPs can model everything — at a level of complexity most teams never finish adopting. nawa sits in between: it brings real management into the conversation, giving you ERP-level power without ERP-level complexity.
What can I actually do with it?
Everything a business does comes down to four things — time, tasks, contacts and money. nawa handles all four: end-to-end encrypted chat and calls, point of sale, inventory and vendors, orders and invoices, a CRM with purchase history, a calendar with recurring events, subscriptions and billing, plus multi-currency and tax. A restaurant order, a class session, a delivery job — they're the same shape, so your business is a configuration, not a whole new system.
How much does nawa cost?
Chat, calls and media are free, forever, for personal use. The Business plan is $20 per user / month and unlocks the management side — tasks, scheduling, CRM and invoicing. Larger, multi-site organizations can talk to us about custom Enterprise terms. Simple per-seat pricing: you pay for the people who use it, with no per-module licences or setup fees.
Is it free to start?
Yes — no card, no setup. Open a chat and go. The free tier is full messaging, calls and media; you only pay when you add the business tools your team needs.
Which devices does it run on?
nawa runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, the web, iOS and Android — built offline-first, so it keeps working through short drops in connection and syncs back up automatically once you're online. Grab the right app on the Download page.
Is my data private and secure?
Your conversations and calls are end-to-end encrypted (ECDH key exchange with AES-GCM). You also get a message-retention rules engine to control how long messages are kept and when they auto-delete — so your data stays on your terms.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Everyone already knows how to chat, so there's next to no learning curve. Start with personal chat, pull in your team to coordinate, then turn on the business tools — orders, schedules and payments flow through the same conversations you're already having.
What about taking payments?
You can already create orders and invoices and track money in multi-currency with tax. In-app payment collection through partners (Stripe globally, Whish in the region) is rolling out next, so you'll be able to get paid right inside the conversation where you agreed the deal.
Who is nawa for?
Small and mid-sized businesses that run on conversations — shops, teams, schools, clinics, delivery and services. If your real work already happens in chats and gets scattered across a POS, a spreadsheet and three other apps, nawa brings it back into one place.
